Recently, Xinjiang Uygur Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xinjiang Uygur Medicine") inked a partnership with Beijing SunwayWorld Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SunwayWorld") and held a launch meeting of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in Urumqi, Xinjiang. It indicates that Xinjiang Uygur Medicine has officially started to build the informatization platform of enterprises in accordance with the GMP laws and regulations, with the purpose of improving the quality management of pharmaceuticals.

Introduction to Customers

Xinjiang Uygur Medicine was founded in 2001 by Humanwell Healthcare Co., Ltd. and Xinjiang Uygur Medical Hospital of Uygur Autonomous Region. It covers industrial park of Uygur medicine with hundreds of mu, and 8 modern production lines. As a Uyghur pharmaceutical champion with an integration of planting, R&D, production and sales, the company also possesses abundant resources of Uyghur medicine. Xinjiang Uygur Medicine has successively won honorary awards such as "High-tech Enterprise of Xinjiang Autonomous Region", "Growing China·Top 30 Most Promising Enterprises of Xinjiang", "State-level Trustworthy Company", "National Industrial Revitalization Project", "National Intelligent Manufacturing Project", "National Major New Drug Creation Project". In addition, the company's trademark "Xipa" has been granted as the well-known trademark of Xinjiang Autonomous Region.

With a long-term perspective, Xinjiang Uygur Medicine has worked to promote the informatization construction, introduce advanced management concepts and methods, conduct research and peer-to-peer learning, and then decided to introduce LIMS system. The implementation of LIMS system can better serve the information construction of the enterprise, laboratory management, providing more efficient testing and management tools for the laboratory.

Objectives

With the implementation of this project, SunwayWorld will build a set of compliant, efficient and scientific laboratory management system which is in line with GMP standards. With the project putting in place, the following objectives will be achieved:

Objective I

Integrate the personnel, equipment, samples, methods, environment and other related resources of the laboratory to bring smooth operation of daily testing, achieving compliant, full and efficient use of laboratory resources.

Objective II

Keep track of data and audit trail of the whole process. Ensure laboratory data integrity and enhance data traceability. More convenient to save, backup and search the data, making the management of laboratory data more in line with the requirements of GMP.

Objective III

Improve the automation, efficiency and accuracy of daily inspection and reduce errors caused by manual operation through the collection of instrument analysis data and the electronization of inspection records. Reduce or eliminate the risks caused by manual operation through the automatic calculation of test results, automatic generation of test reports and evaluation and judgment, which are realized by LIMS.

Objective IV  

While meeting the current demand, the company will learn advanced experience from foreign countries, make the quality management and quality assurance more advanced, raise the quality assurance to the global standard, thereby forging Xinjiang Uygur Medicine into one of the first-class enterprises domestically and internationally.
